Inter Milan Void Ozil Player plus Cash Deal

The 28-year-old is out of contract next summer and is likely to snub any new contract offers, leaving the Gunners facing the prospect of losing a player who was once their club-record signing for nothing. But now calciomercato.com are reporting that Arsenal have tried to lay the groundwork for selling Ozil in January, though a muted swap deal with Inter Milan will not be happening. 

Reports had suggested that Arsenal would try and exchange Inter star Joao Mario for Ozil in January, but the Italian outlet claim that Inter are refusing to entertain the idea.
